Commitment Level: 10 hours per week, 99% remote, contract through April 2021
The Mom Project is excited to partner with our client, a renewable energy company that is revolutionizing the energy sector. They work with official state programs to enable homeowners to support new clean energy projects, lower carbon emissions, and save money on their electricity, for free! There is no on-site installation and signing up only takes two minutes. As such, they are a key part of the solution to mitigate global climate change.
They serve thousands of homeowners across Maryland and New York. They have won numerous awards for our positive impact on communities. Their board and advisors include executives from Facebook, Google and President Obama s cabinet. They are seeking Community Leaders to help increase their impact.
Want to bring clean energy to your community? Want to help your friends and neighbors save money on their energy and lower their emissions, for free? They have an ideal role for you! They are looking for charismatic leaders to engage with members of their community neighborhoods, churches, PTAs, etc. and promote community solar. Common Energy s training program will make you an expert in clean energy, the fastest-growing segment of the energy sector. Help them build a movement of engaged neighbors who lower carbon emissions and save users money!
Promote Common Energy s community solar offering to members of your community to drive enrollment, savings, and impact
Inspire and motivate others to act through one-on-one meetings, group presentations, and engagement with local organizations, e.g., neighborhood associations, churches, PTAs, etc.
Seek and secure opportunities for local press and announcements in print and email newsletters to educate the community about the company's offering
Set up and attend local events to promote Common Energy s offering to the public
Participate in weekly meetings with Common Energy s leadership and broader team
Contribute to a fun, positive work environment!

Able to work successfully remotely, on your own schedule
(Preferred, but not mandatory) experienced in one of the following: sales, community engagement, or customer service
(Preferred but not mandatory) A college graduate
