We are looking for a self-motivated A+ player for the role of National Sales Manager to support our Safety & Security group, SSI GUARDIAN. SSI GUARDIAN has set the new standard in institutional safety, offering schools and organizations the most comprehensive solutions in the industry. You will be afforded the unique opportunity to make our schools safer. You will also:
Leads the assigned sales team within the US, through coaching, development and management of direct reports
Maximize sales revenue by implementation of strategic plans to increase profitability and gain share
Develops and manages cross departmental teams to align with and deliver on corporate objectives.
Accurately forecast and manage to revenue streams and expenses for the assigned area
Maintains and applies a broad understanding of financial management principles to ensure decisions are fiscally sound and responsible.
Strengthens relationships with company resources to ensure efficient and consistent sales
Collaborate and work effectively in a team selling environment to differentiate SSI in the market and provide value to the customer
Makes customer satisfaction a priority by demonstrating Operational Acumen and collaborating with internal resources and programs.
Provides customer insight and competitive intelligence to marketing and product development to drive innovative solutions
Maintains safe and healthy working conditions within your team by ensuring all employees comply with company safety policies and procedures

Minimum Required Qualifications
8+ years of successful sales leadership/management
Verifiable record of achievement in driving revenue through a team at the national level
Understanding of professional marketing and business development strategies
Proven track record of operating from a remote based location requiring travel at the national level
Acceptable driving record, valid driver s license and insurance in a program compliant automobile
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience
Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office experience
Protective safety and security background is strongly preferred
Translates high level sales goals into regional strategies and tactics.
Ability to motivate and mentor direct reports in order to meet sales objectives.
Ability to develop consolidated sales budgets.
Established professional network
experience in emergency management, professional security or institutional safety
Former military leadership experience is welcomed

The national position is remote based working out of your home. The successful candidate will be domiciled in a major U.S. market with easy accessibility to a major airport. Preferred cities include Washington D.C., Chicago, Dallas, Miami, Los Angeles, etc. Other major markets will be acceptable.
