Quality System Lead
Walpole, MA
As the Quality System Lead for Rolls-Royce, you'll work proactively with the Defence Naval business and its functions to support the creation, maintenance and updates to the Quality System and processes in accordance with the Rolls-Royce Management System. This is an exciting role where you'll work towards becoming a certified Rolls-Royce Auditor in support of the Naval Internal Audit Program.

Key Accountabilities
* Provide Rolls-Royce Management Support by coordinating Group Procedure ballots and RRMS releases Defence Naval communications and Quality Management System updates
* Provide Defence Quality Manual support by working with RRMS Controllers and Rolls-Royce Corporation personnel to process and manage revisions to Defence Naval Quality Manual
* Review and improve Naval Local Operating Procedures (LOP) by requesting LOP owners to put in improvements to ensure each is current to help users meet compliance expectations
* Naval Quality System support by participating in Local Operating Procedure formal reviews and deliver timely consulting assistance to requesters having procedure issues or concerns
* Provide ISO audit support through process updates/improvements in response to findings and Opportunities for Improvement from customer and regulators
* Electronic Library/Documentation support via working with IT Department and Rolls-Royce Management System Controllers to update and maintain procedure management system
* Actively participate and execute independent system and process audits as part of the Naval Internal Audit Program to maintain 3rd party ISO certification
* Support Defence Naval ISO certification audits and other external customer or regulatory audits when requested

Basic:
* An Associates degree with 12+ years of experience in operations or quality systems
* A Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in operations or quality systems
* A Master's degree with 6+ years of experience in operations or quality systems
* A JD/PhD with 0+ years of experience in operations or quality systems
* In lieu of a degree, 16+ years of experience in operations or quality systems
* In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US Citizen
Preferred:
* Naval or Aerospace experience
* Engineering or Quality experience and/or degree subject
* Experience working with quality systems
* Auditor experience and certified Auditor
* Green Belt or Black Belt certified
