Job Description

Lonestar is looking for first and second shift processing line workers at its plant in Statesboro, Georgia. Lonestar is a leading poultry processing company specializing in quality products and excellent customer service.

Full-time openings 1st shift: 7:15 am - 4:15 pm available now!
Full-time openings 2nd shift: 4:15 pm - 12:45 pm available now!

Job Requirements:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ability to work in a faced paced environment
  • Ability to work with knives cutting meat
  • Ability to pull
  • Ability to sort
  • Ability to inspect
  • Ability to work with moving product
  • No experience necessary

Physical Requirements

  • Manual dexterity (hands and wrists)

  • Work environment temperatures range to 90 degrees

LoneStar Labor Management provides housing for employees who choose to live at the properties. Effective 4/17/2019, employees that choose the housing option will have $60.00/week deducted from each paycheck starting with the 2nd check to cover the cost of housing. Depending on availability, the housing is in a 2-4-bedroom apartment with two people sharing a bedroom and 2 - 3 people sharing a bathroom. All housing options are within walking distance to Retail, Food, Transportation, Restaurants, Laundry, and all other essential businesses for you and your family's wellbeing.

Lonestar participates in the E-Verify system and uses all tools made available by the federal government to confirm the employment eligibility of all employees. All applicants are required to provide documentation proving their employment eligibility, and all offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of the E-Verify process. Lonestar offers rapid advancement and pay Increases

LoneStar Labor-Management Additional Incentive Policy (effective 2/17/2020):

  • After 30 days of employment, earn an additional $0.15/hr
  • After 60 days of employment, earn an additional $0.20/hr
  • After 90 days of employment, earn an additional $0.25/hr
The rate is effective the Monday following the week that includes your 30/60/90th day employed.
