Description Responsible for the creation of an overall safe work environment both inside and outside the facilities (Louisiana operations) through the development, administration and coordination of safety training programs. All employees are held responsible for practicing and promoting a safe and healthy work environment. Develops, implements, monitors and continuously evaluates safety programs and compliance initiatives including but not limited to Emergency Response Plan, Safe Driving Program, Occupational Health and Fleet Management. Collaborates with company leaders to ensure and drive a culture of safety management and awareness. Analyze accidents/incidents and prepares risk analysis to address root causes of incidents in order to prevent future occurrences and produce relevant safety recommendations where applicable. Plans, organizes and delivers training to leaders and team.Job Requirements:

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. - Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra. - Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. - Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Inventory software; Internet software, - Supervisory Responsibilities: Manages Operations Trainers. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. This includes reporting of any illegal activity or behaviors by subordinates, co-workers, or leadership. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
