POSITION OVERVIEW:

Maintenance and analysis of technical information on membrane products, performance and applications. Provides technical services to customers, including evaluation of returned products. Operates pilot/test units and manufacturing special products.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assists engineers with technical support to customers regarding Hydranautic s products and systems operation.
  • Maintains technical information on Hydranautic s products (product specifications and product bulletins).
  • Helps to resolve routine customer problems relating to product applications and use.
  • Evaluates product performance and communicates data to engineers.
  • Participates in evaluation of returned elements relative to field operation.
  • Participates in product development and testing.
  • Processes returned goods reports. Assists with operation of product testing equipment and machinery.
  • Writes reports as required
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE:
  • Working toward a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Environmental Science.
  • Basic knowledge of water chemistry concepts, fluid flow and water pressure as well as analytical method and technical writing.
  • Strong application of critical thinking skills along with exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills, flexibility in responding to rapidly changing, dynamic processes and demands/pressures in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ability to verbally communicate across functional organizational groups, provide high level customer service through effective interpersonal skills and conflict resolution.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite software applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other enterprise software applications.
  • Must be able to write clear processes, manuals and reports for management review, and present technical information in understandable terms, and respond to questions from groups of customers, employees and/or general public.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a small and/or large group.
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong follow-through and organizational skills.
