**Role Summary/Purpose**

The Outage Planner provides job cost control and plan monitoring (actual vs. planned) of the outages and is in charge of detailed and summarized project cost, man-hour accounting and schedule update data collection all for the purposes of accurate data entry, analysis and reporting during project execution.

Additionally, the Outage Planner will assist in the development of project cost estimates, schedules, accounting processes, records oversight processes, and materials management..

**Essential Function**

+ Planning

+ Maintain a working knowledge of specific project contractual terms to ensure proper and complete revenue and margin recognition and collection to include extra work and warranty billing.

+ Review and retain copies of the applicable Job Cost Estimate and purchase order documentation.

+ Execution

+ Collect and enter cost and progress data related to purchase orders.

+ Update schedule progress weekly or as requested via data entry.

+ Prepare the Project Progress Report (PPR), value, and man-hour reports as requested.

+ Provide timely and accurate data to management as requeste

+ Be the Point of Contact for Regional SM / GS / FE, Customer, and Commercial Team for Demand Placement and clarification

+ Manages regular Outage / Resource Planning rhythm

+ Review planned outages, discuss potential synergies, constraints

+ Review emergent outage needs, discuss potential synergies, constraints

**Qualifications** **/Requirements**

+ Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university (OR an Associate's Degree with a minimum of 3+ years of relevant professional work experience)

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience with Project Management

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in fields services or power generation

+ Expereince with GE OEM turbines or generators

+ Experience with contract management, pricing and conditions

**Desired** **Characteristics**

+ Good knowledge of Primavera

+ Excellent customer service and communication skills

+ Good reporting skills

+ Excellent communicator

+ Operates well in a multi-company team environment

+ Exhibits leadership traits and abilities

+ English proficiency required
