Position Objective:

The Production Team Leader is a primary contributor to the success of the Garland Operations mission to Build the People, Build the Business, and Build the Brand. In this role, youll lead a team of 10-20 associates to safely, and efficiency manufacture high-quality specialty chemical products, delivering value and delighting our customers.

Main Responsibilities:

Lead the team:

  • Set the team vision, connect people to their purpose
  • Explain the companys vision and purpose, model exemplary leadership behaviors
  • Recruit, train, and develop a highly engaged, high-performing team
  • Set clear expectations, observe, and provide performance feedback to ensure all company standards are met.
  • Deliver Results:

  • Deliver all Engagement, Safety, Service, and Savings results as laid out in the Strategic Plan and OGSM.
  • Apply and participate in TPM and Operational Excellence approach including all its tools (HPO, 5S, PCS, Pillars, SMED)
  • Perform loss analysis, root cause analysis, and problem-solving techniques to focus continuous improvement activities

  • Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 4+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
  • Experience implementing Operational Excellence & TPM Principles
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma Green Belt or experience in Continuous Improvement preferred.
  • Experience making high-impact decisions in fast-paced environment.
