Full-time employment (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday through Friday) This position is a Licensed Professional Geologist, on the technical staff, in the Cambria District Office. The person in this position employs the principles of hydrogeology to evaluate the impact on water resources that may be adversely affected by non-coal and coal surface mines. In addition to permit reviews, duties include investigations of water-related issues.. The geologist collects, compiles, and analyzes hydrogeological data including drill logs, well logs, water level measurements, geophysical surveys, samples, and water quality data.
