A Environmental Aide is an ancillary employee who, under the direct supervisionof the Environmental Supervisor, performs manual housekeeping duties in an orderlyand sanitary manner for the purpose of maintaining the Hospital facilities in a clean,sanitary, orderly and attractive condition, to provide a suitable environment for the care of patients, visitors and for the work of the Hospital staff.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Ability to speak, read and write basic English. Able to follow instructions.Previous experience in a housekeeping or custodial position preferred, but not required.
