As the North America Microsoft Alliance Leader, you are responsible for accelerating revenue growth through maximizing our partnership with Microsoft. You will establish the strategy, execution plans, sales programs and core metrics around Avanade's North America Microsoft Channel Relationships. You will lead a team of regional members to execute our North American strategy at a local level and you will develop new productive organizational relationships across all of Microsoft. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Partner Strategy and Execution Plan

*

Develop a partner strategy, define metrics and execution plan for the year.
*

Cleary lay out joint goals and objectives that each company has agreed to deliver in the fiscal year.
*

Provide tactile details on how the Avanade regional Microsoft Channel Leader Team will execute the strategy and the expected outcome that it will produce.
*

Establish a cross company rhythm of the business to operationalize the execution plan.
*

Rhythm of the business will focus on building a strong national pipeline, accelerating deals through the sales cycle, maximizing new signings and maintaining alignment with delivery.

Opportunity Development & Tracking

*

Coordinate with leaders across Avanade, Microsoft and, at times, Accenture to ensure a strong plan is in place to advance and close large, complex deals that require executive engagement.
*

Proactive engagement with Microsoft stakeholders to identify deal & client opportunities to engage Avanade.
*

Engage on early stage Microsoft Channel opportunities to ensure Avanade capability and value prop is appropriately positioned.
*

Track priority Microsoft Channel originated deals to ensure the right level of Avanade engagement to help support the opportunity.

Team Leadership

*

Guide the Regional Microsoft Channel Leaders across the country to ensure they are executing against the strategy and shared execution plan.
*

Provide coaching and development of our Microsoft Channel Leader Team, while creating a strong team environment in which the team shares best practices, works together and amplifies the overall impact of the Channel.

MORE ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE & DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES:

*

Accountable for North American Avanade US Microsoft partner activity including key relationship building and opportunity identification & origination.
*

Key point of contact for Microsoft, driving & directing channel partner relationships to relevant Region connects.
*

Accountable for driving the target attainment around the channel partner revenues and license recovery (e.g. CPOR, CSA/OSA, SIF/BIF).
*

Accountable for working with Microsoft to drive a sales pipeline origination target based on Qualified Leads handed to appropriate Region Sellers & MU Leaders.
*

Education of our field sales team on how to leverage and win with our Microsoft Channel.
*

Assist in developing meaningful Alliance Sales partnerships and revenue streams.

*

Strong knowledge of the channel partner's networks including, how and when to engage.
*

Ability to guide the Regional Microsoft Channel Leads on how to connect and drive ongoing relationships between Avanade's sales team and appropriate members of the Microsoft Field teams.
*

Detailed knowledge of the nuances of the Microsoft channel funding principles and approaches, as well as license opportunities.
*

Tenacious operator, able to spot opportunity and drive detail to closure.
*

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to create & sustain a network of channel partner executives and others.
*

Knowledge of Avanade offerings & ability to engage with partner in the surfacing of new opportunities.
*

Team player, with the ability to work across complex ecosystems and teams without conflict.
