How Youll Make a Difference
Serves as a regulatory and safety consultant for all departments within the enterprise post acute division including home health, pharmacy, hospice, DMEPOS, post-acute network, rehabilitation network and sleep. Manages the development and implementation of strategies to facilitate regulatory and accreditation compliance as well as interventions to promote and enhance patient safety. Participates on multi-functional teams, acts as a resource for leaders, and is a content expert in regulation and safety. Formulates measurement plans and analyzes data to provide information for regulatory and safety decision support.
License & CertificationsRegistered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices.
EducationBachelor's Degree in Nursing.
ExperienceTypically requires 5 years of experience in health care, preferably post acute care.
Ability to build collaborative relationships with team members across the post-acute enterprise.Demonstrates time management skills by prioritizing and balancing multiple projects while displaying flexibility.Maintains and expands current knowledge and competency in all assigned regulatory arenas. Maintains and expands current knowledge and competency in performance improvement principles and techniques.
